So, I am a wife, mother to 4 children and servant of the Lord. I am 29 years old and I had a terrible childhood. Thankfully am getting help and learning tools to use. I am not a sales person, but I wanted to tell you all ways I have changed and things that have helped me. Our women's bible study group got ahold of am amazing workbook. It is called Trust Training by Dionne Carpenter. When I was struggling with the battles in my life, I did not know how to trust in God. I thought I was not a good daughter to Father God. How could I not fully trust him. Through this book I am re-training my ways of using my faith.

Hi Amanda,
I just wanted to tell you that I praise God for helping you in your spiritual personal life. God is awesome and we can always count on Him no matter what. I've learned that He is the ONLY one faithful. We flake, we break our promises, we forget about people, etc. But God... He is always and will always be there no matter what. His love for us will never change no matter how we behave sometimes. I'm glad, truly that He is working in you and transforming you into the vessel He has created you to be.

A warm welcome to you Amanda. I'm glad you found a book that helps you to grow in your Christian book. As long as it is next to the Bible it's fine. Our Bible is GOD's love letter to us so to me , HIS love letter is number one then lots of books in my mind. You will see the ladies favorite books in recommended books section. You might like to check on them when you are through with what you are reading. What you have seems to be a good book though. I might check on it in the nearby future.

I have Grace Awakening by Dr. Swindoll which I highly recommend to all Christians.

Hi Amanda, greetings from Ohio! I can see your humility in how you speak of your growing in the Lord and His ways. I am sorry that you had a terrible childhood, but I know that God can use that to His glory by the fact that you do trust Him in spite of that. Also, you will be able to help many others that have gone through the same thing and are struggling with their faith or trusting in God.
