No fluffy introduction...I am here because I just don't understand why christian women...at least one's that profess to be christian...can hurt people with their legalistic veiws. Written all through the Bible it says that gossip is bad, to examine the tounge...I have been a christian since the age of 10 and never have I seen women so cruel than the ones in my church. Of course Satan would love it that I leave because of this, but I am sticking it out! My ministry is growing and I can't abandon it. These women are wives of deacons in the church and are "powerful" as a group. They appear squeaky clean, but when backs are turned....yikes! I pray for them, that God will take care of it...but it has been 2 years! I just don't understand?

I am going to ask a fairly dumb question.....
If you were in contact with these women and they were non-Christians, would you be as annoyed by their ways or would you expect less since they were non-Christians? Some one brought to my attention just yesterday that we expect more from Christians due to their title, yet we forget we are all sinners and need to be guided. Maybe it is time to address the issue with these women. Just a thought.
On the flip side of that......I do understand how you feel. I have seen it repeatedly in people. Just sad is what it is.
