shaving

I know this might be kind of an awkward question, but I dont really know what to do about it. What do you think about shaving/waxing pubic hair? I am a virgin and not married but when I do get married I dont want to gross my husband out or anything. I don't know what is normal? shave, wax? anything? Let me know what you think:) Thanks...I feel so awkward asking this but I really dont know how else to know what to do?

Hi lovey,

Don't know if I have "the answer" for you, but I see you posted on Dec 3rd & no one else has answered yet, so thought I'd reply...

What people do about pubic hair totally varies from person to person. It really is a personal choice. I've never had my pubic area waxed, but if it's anything like when I get my eyebrows done, I can't imagine it feeling pleasant  ouch! However, it would make it hairfree & smooth & for some, this is the route they chose.

Others trim or shave the pubic hair. Some people just partially, other people completely. It will be itchy at first as the hair grows in, but as the skin gets used to it, it's not bad.

While you are single, do whatever you prefer. I wouldn't bother doing anything unless it makes you feel better. When you are in a serious relationship & getting close to your wedding, you can always ask what your man prefers & take that into consideration and add that to your "wedding to do list". :D

I hope this helps. Anyone else have any thoughts?

If you want to totally be bare....waxing hurts like the dickens! I use depilatory cream for that look. Do not shave it bare!!!! You will end up with an awful lot of ingrown hairs and it is itchy! YIKES!
Personally, keeping the bikini line shaved and the rest trimmed very short is the easiest if you wanna clean it up. You can get personal body grooming electric (run on batteries)razors really cheap these days, Conair makes a good one and it is pretty pink....LOL
Those are my thoughts.
